Today in class I did a vocab homework check and collected your second chapter questions. We then discussed what we read in the novel.
Class time today was used to work on our literary paragraphs. I handed out outlines and you had the block to work on your paragraphs. Rough copies are due on Monday.
Here is the plan for the literary paragraph:
Monday's class - Finish writing outline and write rough draft.
Thursday's class - Come to class with your completed rough draft. This will be a peer editing and revision day.
Literary paragraphs are due EITHER Friday December 16th (to get it out of the way before the break) OR Thursday, January 5th.
No handouts today.
Homework:
Vocab quiz Monday
Bring Literary Paragraph ROUGH COPY to class. This is not the version you are handing in, so don't sweat it if it's not perfect!
Read "And a Partridge in a Pear Tree" and "Red Versus White"
