Warren Pryor Literary Paragraph

Hi All,

Today we read a new poem using some of the poetry reading techniques we discussed in class yesterday.  You were given a topic for a literary paragraph, and today we spent time developing thesis statements and writing drafts for our paragraphs.

Tomorrow we will use our drafts in a peer editing fashion and make changes to improve.  Good copies will be due on Friday.

Please remember that your draft is just that, a draft!  Last time many drafts were handed in identical to the good copy.  Please take care to ensure that you are reading through the literary must haves in order to recognize areas for improvement.  Use the checklists I have given you and the peer evaluation sheets to help guide your proofreading and editing.

Homework:

"Warren Pryor" literary paragraph rough draft - due tomorrow.
