"The Father"

Hi all,

Today in class we discussed the questions from our class yesterday and I handed back your responses.  We then took time to discuss different types of characters and you entered notes into the short stories section of your binder.  I then had you read the short story, "The Father" by Hugh Garner and we began discussing the types of characters in this story.

Homework:  Come to class with a web diagram of John Purcell's personality traits.  Leave space between the traits so you can enter some more information on Monday.  Aim for 10 traits.
