Hi All,
Today in class we discussed tetrameter and iambic pentameter in relation to MSND. We then discussed why some characters speak in such lyrical language, while others speak in prose.
One of the major themes of the play is love. Having read Act II Sc i, we know that many characters have differing views on love. Today I asked you to consider some of you own positions on the situations in the play and respond. We then moved into our "troupes" for a group discussion before having a whole class discussion on the matter.
We finished the block with a breakdown of II.i. and the responses were due at the end of the block, or must be completed for homework tonight and handed in tomorrow if you did not complete.
