Quiz and Prep

Hi All,

Today in class we took our second character quiz.  We then spent the rest of the class reviewing for our upcoming tests.

Here is what I suggest you do:

1.  Review the play.  You can read sparknotes for some detailed explanations.

2.  Review your notes on Shakespeare and the play.

3.  Review your literary writing expectations as well as previous assignments that I have marked for you.

4.  When looking at the major themes/topics in the play (in your MSND notes), write down three specific situations in the play that pertain to each major topic/theme.  This will help you organize your thoughts on Monday when you see the topics for your in class essay.

The in class essay will be less words than your last essay and the topics will be handed out along with a checklist that will help guide your writing.  Remember the technique for planning that we practised together in class.

**Your unit test on Tuesday is only 28 multiple choice questions about Shakespeare and the play.  The literary writing component of the test is being omitted due to your in class write on Monday.
